Week 2

Week two, I have decided to read the book “Singenpoo – The Paw Thing” By Paul Jennings, this book is one of 4 in a series and is based around a cat that lives a life of squalor as a chicken shop owners useless cat that can’t even catch a mouse. The story goes on to tell how the cat gets the name Singepoo, and how from a boy called Scott coming and working for Major Mac, Singepoo’s life is saved and so is the legacy of the chicken shop. The story would be great for middle primary I believe because it’s comical styling’s’ would allow for a light hearted read and hopefully the interaction with the text due to interest.
