Back to children’s books, The Tale of Tom Kitten by Beatrix
Potter is a story depicting a cheeky young tubby kitten that goes out into the
garden to play with his brother and sister. After many of mismatched events;
falling over, losing the cloths their mother had put on them, tom and his
siblings return home for a well-deserved rest. This book is quite short and
simple but I believe it could be used for conveying message and be used for a
guided reading session to improve students reading abilities in the younger
years.
