Week 3
This week I have chosen to read “Dead Poets Society By………!
This is a story of a main character being a young lad attending a prestigious
all boys boarding college under the watchful eye of his father. The boy becomes
entranced with spoken word and poetry as a new English teacher introduces the
beauty of words to them.
This book is a
fantastic read and uses a large range of descriptive words to depict the
scenes, characters and the workings of the events. I think this novel would be
fantastic for a study with focus on the comparison between the written text and
the movie. As the tale the movie and novel depict are quiet dark but still up
lifting, upper primary, or early secondary would be great years to use this
for. This book and movie combination
